I would recommend that if you are interested that you jump on this quickly because banks drop rates fast if the demand is high enough.
Here are the rates as of 3/9/09:
- 13 months: 2.15% APY
- 37 months: 3.00% APY
- 59 months: 4.00% APY
All CDs do require a $1,000 minimum deposit. Interest is paid annually.
US Bank offers more than just CD rates. From mortgages to savings accounts, they do have a lot of accounts worth looking at but in particular, the CD rates are the best right now.
