Right now, there are some pretty good money market rates out there. Keep in mind that two out of the three banks have only been in the top three for 2 weeks. Corus Bank on the other hand has been in the top ten for almost 40 consistent weeks, making them a bank you should look at.
As of 10/14/2008, here are the top three money market rates –
- Dollar Savings Direct - 4.00% APY - $1,000 minimum
- Corus Bank - 3.85% APY - $100 minimum
- Venture Bank Direct - 3.80% - $1 minimum
All of these banks are FDIC insured and are very safe and secure.
