The $100 bonus offer is back at PNC Bank. The Web-only offer is available to people who open a PNC free checking account online by July 31, 2010. Details of the offer include:
- No minimum balance required
- No monthly service charge
- Free online banking and bill pay
- Free PNC Bank Visa check card
- Free banking rewards program
The checking account also reimburses non-PNC Bank ATM fees if you have a minimum average monthly balance of at least $2,000.
To qualify for the $100 bonus you must be a new PNC customer and be a resident of Washington, DC, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Wisconsin. Only one bonus is allowed per household.
To receive the bonus, you must you make a direct deposit into the account and make 10 direct purchases with the PNC Bank check card within 60 days of opening the account. Each direct deposit must be at least $400. Qualifying direct deposits do not include credit card cash advance transfers, transfers from one account to another, or deposits that are made at branches or ATMs.
PNC Bank also has other checking accounts that qualify for the $100 bonus offer–the Virtual Wallet, Performance, and Performance Select.
