Open up an Electric Orange Account with ING Direct and you can receive a $25 bonus.
Here’s how you do it –
- Open up an electric account (if you haven’t done so already)
- Activate your Electric Orange MasterCard
- Make at least 3 signature based transactions in the first 45 days.
After the 50 days, you’ll see the $25 pop up in your account if you follow all of the guidelines.
Here are the current Orange rates as of 8/19/2008:
- Under $50,000 — 1.75% APY
- $50,000 to $100,00 — 3.20% APY
- over $100,000 — 3.40% APY

Thanks Chris, I checked out Venture Bank Direct and have been happy so far. They are in the process of adding an online checking account to their mix. Savings interest rate is now at 3.6% APY.
