Our roots in Colorado date back to 1988, when Vectra Bank opened for business in Denver. Over the next 10 years, the Vectra Bank family grew to include 17 high performance, well-respected community banks in the Denver/Boulder area.

In 1998, Vectra Bank was acquired by Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ:ZION) and, that same year, Zions completed a series of additional acquisitions in Colorado that knit together some of the most successful banks statewide. Vectra Bank Colorado is part of the Zions group of locally managed, regional banking networks operating in eight western states—Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Washington.
