7 Ways to Create Income for the Holidays
Are you looking for cash on the holidays. Here are some ideas.

With the holidays fast approaching, many Americans are trying to find ways to earn a few extra dollars so that they can buy the gifts they want for relatives and friends.  Using your imagination is one of the best ways to generate income on the side.  Not only can you do these things for the holidays, you can do them year round.

Sell something on EBay

Walk around your house and look at things you never use or don’t plan on using.  Even if you don’t think you’ll get money for it, don’t throw it out.  Do a quick check on eBay to see if someone is selling a similar item.  EBay is usually the busiest around Christmas time.  This can generate anywhere from $50 and on.

Baby-sit

If you have friends with kids or you know of neighborhood kids, tell them that you’re available to babysit.  This is great for parents that want to get out and shop without the kids coming along.  A lot of the times parents need to buy for kids and can’t find a babysitter.

Bake Sale

During the holidays, you will notice that there are a lot of craft shows and such going on.  At these craft shows, you will notice a bake sale section.  If you’re able to get a hold of these groups before the show starts, you can set up a booth and sell bake goods.

Setup Christmas Decorations

Make up a few flyers saying that you will put up Christmas decorations for a price.  With so many families on the move nowadays, this is a great opportunity to have fun and make money at the same time.  A lot of families out there don’t have time but would love their house to have the holiday feel.

Shovel Snow

This may sound like a kid job but a grown-up can benefit as well.  Just think of all the driveways in your neighborhood.  If you have a snow blower or even an ATV that you can connect a plow to, this can create a very nice side income, sometimes even a full-time income.

Get a Seasonal Job

Over 600,000 seasonal jobs are created each season.  Every retailer is desperate around this time because it’s the busiest time of the season.  You’ll usually be able to grab a job from October to about mid-January.  If you like the job a lot and don’t want to quit, sometimes you may find the employer will keep you full-time.

Donate Blood

This one may freak people out but giving blood pays!  It’s not going to pay a lot but you’re going to be helping someone in need and you’ll be able to spare a few bucks for your holiday shopping.

These are just a few ways you can make money on the side for the holidays.  In the world, there are millions of ways.  It’s up to you to use your imagination.  Depending on how much money you need for the holidays, will depend on what kind of job you’ll need.  If you need a few thousand, you’re going to have a tough time but if you only need a few hundred, a simple babysitting job will do the trick.
